I grew up in beautiful Arizona and earned my business degree at Arizona State University. My wife, Barbara, who usually assists me, also grew up in Arizona. For a number of years, I worked for a major oil company and with them, we transferred several times, lived in several different states and I learned to develop leadership skills.

When the company was purchased by one of the largest oil companies in the world, I took a severance package and left the industry. I've taught business at the community college and high school levels and have developed speaking and presentation skills. Barbara and I have five children so I've also learned to be creative and flexible.

For the past twenty years or so, I've provided music, on a volunteer basis, for family parties, church dances, and even our oldest daughter's wedding reception. After chaperoning a high school dance, Barbara suggested I start a DJ business, which I happily did. It gave me a chance to purchase professional gear and acquire a lot of great music. I am in my fifth year as a professional DJ and love what I do. Barbara and I like to dance so I know the difference between a swing and a waltz, and I know great dance music, we even offer basic dance instruction. I like to learn and grow, and with each performance I learn something new to make the next event even better.

I am a member of the American Disc Jockey Association and a graduate of the rigorous MarBecca Master of Ceremonies Workshop. I am careful with one of my most important tools, the microphone. I am fun but will not ridicule you or your guests, embarass anyone with profanity, or spend too much time on the microphone. I always remember its all about you and not me.
